WHY AMERICA?

The U.S is still the most COVID 19 affected country in the world with nearly 4 million coronavirus cases. However, the real estate market in the U.S still has positive signs. The increase in housing supply combined with the bank's preferential interest rate policy fell to a record low of only 3%, which leads to the U.S housing market quickly recovered and active. The realtors also support customers to visit properties from afar by virtual reality technology such as 3D scanning technology, tour360 ... helping showcase properties easily and conveniently.

The Adapt 2 Change #1 titled "What & How Realtors do in the U.S" will be held online at three sites in Washington DC, California, and Hanoi. The event will help attendees update the information of the U.S real estate market; learn what and how the U.S real estate businesses do and their new directions to adapt in the time of the pandemic; investment stories, analysis from real estate experts, and lessons learned can be applied in the Vietnam real estate market.

Mr. Vinh Nguyen started in real estate in 1987. He founded Westgate Realty Group, Inc., a boutique real estate company in 1997. At the national level, Mr. Vinh was NAR’s President Liaison to Cambodia, 2018 and Vietnam, 2008 - 2012; NAR Board of Director, 2008 - 2012. He was awarded the prestigious NAR Omega Tau Rho Medal of Service, 2009. At the state level, Mr. Vinh was Virginia Association of Realtors® Vice-Chair, Information Management Committee, 2010; Strategic Planning Work Group, 2008. At the local level, Mr. Vinh was Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® Chairman of the Board of Directors, 2010/. He was named Northern Virginia Association of Realtors®’ Realtor of the Year in 2011. Mr. Vinh was the Founding President of the DC Metro Chapter of Asian Real Estate Association of America, 2009.
Lawrence Yun is responsible for a wide range of research activities for NAR. Dr. Yun creates NAR’s forecasts and participates in many economic forecasting panels, among them the Blue Chip Council and the Harvard University Industrial Economist Council. He appears regularly on financial news outlets, is a frequent speaker at real estate conferences throughout the U.S. and has testified before Congress. Dr. Yun appears often as a guest on CSPAN’s "Washington Journal" and is a regular guest columnist on the "Forbes" website.
Lieu Nguyen is the National Association of Realtors®, NAR, President’s Liaison to Vietnam. She is a Realtor® with Westgate Realty Group, Inc. since 2006 during which time she served as a Commercial Broker, Business Broker as well as a Realtor® where she promoted foreign investments to and from the United States. Ms. Lieu is currently on the Advisory Board for Vietnam National Association of Real Estate Professionals, VNARP. She was the Founding Chairwoman for VietAmCham (Vietnamese American National Chamber of Commerce); member of the founding Board of Directors for Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), Washington D.C. Metro Chapter
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Anh Vice CEO, Batdongsan.com.vn. Mr. Anh has deep knowledge of the real estate market in Vietnam and marketing methods in the real estate industry. He has financial management experience at Ernst & Young Vietnam, the first international auditing and advisory organization to have established a legally recognized 100% foreign owned company in Vietnam.
