Vietnam - U.S. Real Estate Investment Conference 2018

Vietnam - U.S. Real Estate Investment Conference is an event for senior managers in the real estate industry. The purpose of conference is to mutually provide professional insights to potential investors for real estate investment opportunities in Vietnam and the U.S. The primary objective is to encourage foreign investments and create strategic cooperation between local and foreign companies.

The Vietnam National Association of Real Estate Professionals, VNARP does an annual trade mission which incorporates a Vietnam - U.S. Real Estate Investment Conference in Hochiminh City and Hanoi. With the support of the National Association of Realtors®, NAR and its local associations such as the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors®, SCCAOR; the Orange County Association of Realtors®, OCAR and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors®, NVAR, the VNARP Vietnam Trade Mission delegation includes 40 members.

The program is limited to 60 invited guests representing real estate companies in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Besides sharing an overview of the real estate market in Vietnam specifically in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, we will highlight 2 investment opportunities in Vietnam and provide a panel discussion on the buying process of real estate in Vietnam to the delegation. Dr. Can Van Luc is currently the Senior Advisor to the Chairman and Senior Executive Vice President of BIDV & Director of BIDV Training School. As an expert on financial services, Dr. Luc directly advises the Bank Chairman on strategy, risk management and human resource development. Dr. Luc has been invited as a guest lecturer for MBA courses at Monash University in Australia, Boston University in the U.S. and top universities throughout Vietnam over the past 10 years. Prior to his current position, he was the Executive Vice President & Director of BIDV Transaction Center III, and various senior management roles at BIDV since he started working at the Bank in early 1993. Dr. Luc was a senior fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow under the Fulbright exchange program in the U.S. during 2007-2009.

Mr. Anh has deep knowledge of the real estate market in Vietnam and marketing methods in the real estate industry. He has financial management experience at Ernst & Young Vietnam, the first international auditing and advisory organization to have established a legally recognized 100% foreign owned company in Vietnam.

Lieu Nguyen is the National Association of Realtors®, NAR, President’s Liaison to Vietnam. She is a Realtor® with Westgate Realty Group, Inc. since 2006 during which time she served as a Commercial Broker, Business Broker as well as a Realtor® where she promoted foreign investments to and from the United States. Ms. Lieu is currently on the Advisory Board for Vietnam National Association of Real Estate Professionals, VNARP. She was the Founding Chairwoman for VietAmCham (Vietnamese American National Chamber of Commerce); member of the founding Board of Directors for Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), Washington D.C. Metro Chapter.
